Google Maps Highlights Your Rated Google Places, Points You to New Places to Go [In Brief]

Google Maps Highlights Your Rated Google Places, Points You to New Places to GoNow you can find personalized recommendations of places to visit on Google Maps, based on your Google Places ratings.

If you've been using Google Places since it launched this summer to find and review restaurants, shops, or other businesses nearby, you'll be happy to know it's easier to see your rated paces on Google Maps now: Every place you rate sports a distinct red dotted underline.

If you haven't tried Google Places yet, now's a great time. Once you rate at least five places, when perusing Google Maps for the next nearby haunt, Google will highlight them for you. The personalized recommendations are based on the ratings you've shared and are available on both the desktop and Google Maps for Android.
