According to its website, Motricity possess four patents. The company?s most recent patent "Method and system for delivering contextual content to a mobile device" targets mobile content to a mobile device based on the context of where and how a user discovers the content. Motricity said its loss for the April-June quarter was $4.3 million, or 9 cents a share, compared with a loss of $11.6 million, or $1.95 a share, a year ago.
Sky-mobi Limited is a mobile application store in China in which the company operates mobile social games and provides applications and content with social network functions to its registered members. Sky-mobi said it expects RMB 164-167 million ($25.6-$26.1 million) in revenue for the first quarter.
